Stihl Fs 55r Weedeater Coil
I bought an aftermarket coil. It is backfiring and will not start. Can you let know where to download a service manual for it. I would like to have diagrams of the inner workings of my trimmer.

This is a link to the user guide which has information on the various parts of the strimmer. The setting of the gap between the coil and flywheel can affect the ignition so a gap of around 1.2mm, sorry meant to say 12 Thou of an inch should suffice.

check these settings and also make sure that the fuel is good. Also verify the plug gap.
