Blower Won't Rev To Full Throttle !
hello ". I bought this blower about a year ago ,Mir starts perfectly and worked really well , I left it for a while with fuel in the tank then went to use it again , it started perfectly but would not rev to full throttle , I reckoned it was stale fuel in the carb so I bought a genuine Makita replacement and fitted it .Started the blower with no problem , had plenty of leaves to collect in my 1acre garden , blower was running great for about an hour , then the problem came back , if I tried to rev at full throttle the engine would stall . So I emptied the fuel tank then started the blower to use the fuel in the carb , when all the fuel was used I refilled the tank about one third full started the blower and it worked perfectly using low and full throttle, after about 20 minutes the problem returned , I've repeated the above process a number of times with the same outcome !! Hopefully you can set me straight !!! Rgds Phil

Try fitting a new spark plug. It could be breaking down when the unit is hot. Allowing it to cool lets it work again. Try the simple things first. It does not sound like you have a carb problem.
