Pull out the red shipping restraint (1) and turn the blue knob (2) counterclockwise (in the direction of the molded arrows) to take -up any excess slack in on the white plastic ribbon restraint (1) at either end of the cartridge (this engages the ribbon take up knob). 1 3.
