I know of 2 solutions to this if the router is yours.
1. Connect a computer to the router by LAN Cable. Go to http://192.168.0.1 and refer to the router's manual for the login credentials and location for the router's security settings. You can change the password from there.
2. Reset (that tiny reset button usually near the sockets for the LAN Cables) the router and set it up again from your iPad.
