Can't Control Ipod Through Head Unit Of Alpine Code 136bt

While it is working before, all if a sudden I am unable to control the iPod through the head unit of the radio. I use the USB connection. Previously, I could use the play/pause button on head unit to control iPod. Now, when I press it, it will pause for a second then continue to play. Also, on my iPod, the shuffle is activated when I press any control buttons on the head unit.
