Radio Controls Stop Working X3 2006

the radio and CD control stopped working on my x 3 2006 the steering wheel controls still work but only for the radio not for the CDI am unable to remove the CD holder from the console section is there a reboot switch or what are the directions to reboot that & also the trip reset is not working or the navigation system dies not come up.
