Lost Thousands Of Coins In Slot Play How Do You Give Them Back?

I have played the scatter games and the wheels spin and I have lost thousands of coins.  Since I pay money to play this is losing my own money.  Additionally last time I leveled up I didn't get a ticket.  What's going on and how do I get my lost coins?
