Small Metal Piece

I took my model 1793 apart to clean it and a small metal clamp or piece fell off but idk where it goes back on at

Unfortunately Bissell only lists a limited number of parts for the 1793 -- no parts diagram -- and the part you're describing is not included, so it's impossible to know for sure where it goes. As a guess, it may be a piece that holds the belt or brush roller in place.
