To print wirelessly to a Brother MFC-8460N printer, you'll need to follow these general steps:

Check network connectivity: Ensure that your MFC-8460N printer is connected to your wireless network. Refer to the printer's manual or manufacturer's instructions for specific guidance on how to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Install printer drivers: Make sure you have the correct printer drivers installed on your computer. You can obtain the drivers from the Brother website. Download and install the drivers that are compatible with your operating system.

Connect the printer to your computer: If you haven't done so already, establish a connection between your computer and the MFC-8460N printer. You can connect via USB initially to set up the wireless connection, or some printers have a wireless setup wizard that can be accessed from the printer's control panel.

Configure wireless settings: Access the settings menu on the MFC-8460N printer and navigate to the wireless or network settings. Follow the instructions in the printer's manual to enter your wireless network name (SSID) and password. Once entered, the printer will connect to the Wi-Fi network.

Add the printer to your computer: On your computer, go to the Control Panel or System Preferences (depending on your operating system) and open the Printers or Devices section. Click on "Add Printer" or "Add Device" to initiate the printer setup wizard.

Locate and select the printer: The setup wizard will search for available printers on your network. When it detects the Brother MFC-8460N printer, select it from the list of available devices.

Complete the setup: Follow the prompts to complete the printer setup. This may involve confirming settings, specifying default preferences, or configuring other options based on your preferences.

Test the wireless printing: Once the setup is complete, try printing a test page or any document to verify that the wireless printing is working correctly.

Please note that the specific steps and terminology may vary slightly depending on your operating system and printer software version. It's always advisable to consult the printer's manual or contact Brother's support for detailed instructions specific to your MFC-8460N model and your computer's operating system.
