What Would Make My 2006 Buick Rainier Cxl Spuddering When Turning Left Or Right?

I made a turn into a drive way of a parking structure when the rainer started spuddering. When I turned the wheel left or right it would start spuddering. I didn't seem to have that problem driving straight. I am 150 miles from home (in Reno & live in Sacramento). I don't know if it is a censor or something electronic? Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

There are a variety of parts that can cause the clunk sound, The steering shaft, the struts, the stabilizer links, etc, If you do have a clunk in park just turning the wheel back and forth, then it is most likely the intermediate steering shaft that is the problem. If thats not the noise, then all i can suggest is to have the front suspension parts, (struts, links, tie rods, etc) checked by a good front end shop.
