Windshield Washer Fluid Connection

I have a 2007 Buick Lucern. The connector where the fluid hose connects to the car that feeds the fluid to the wipers keeps coming disconnected. It has a small plastic tube in the hose that connects the hose to the body of the car. The tube has become very brittle, and will not maintain a tight connection. How can I repair this. It doesn't look like rocket science, and while I'm not very mechanically inclined, it looks like I should be able to do the repair myself. Any suggestions/advice.

A great place to start would be your local auto parts store. They should have windshield washer hose available. If you are intent on the fit being just right you can either bring in the entire old hose or a small piece to ensure you get the right size. Also they make clamps for hoses this small that would keep it snug for a long time. If you would like a less custom look you could always use a zip tie. windshield-washer-tubing may be a helpful link as well. I included a pic of the kinda clamps and hosing that i would recommend.
