My Tv Cuts Off By Itself

After playing for about 20 minutes, the TV cuts itself off.  It is an old Sylvania set.  I've used Cablevision with this TV for over a year with no problems.  This started happening about three days ago.  I just need to know if a problem like this is due to the old TV or something with the cable connection.
