Cooling Problems
I have a 94 cavalier with a 3.1 v-6 . With a cold start the cooling fan comes on right away and dosn't shut off til I turn the car off. With the car idling the temp will stay just past the half way mark. ince I start driving the temp will sometimes spike all the way into the red then back down to about the half way mark. other times it will go between the half anf 3/4 way mark. I have replaced the waterpump, thermostat, upper hose, radiator cap, and temp sensor. I have awesome heat in the car. I have tried to putge the system of air which helps some. The head gaskets were replaced before I got the car and have low miles on them. The oil looks good other then it needs to be changed and there is no white smoke coming from the tailpipe either
