Problems After Changing The Factory Cold Air Intake

I've recently changed my factory cold air intake for an after market.  Now I am having acceleration problems. . When I mash the gas the car stalls and says throttle response. Then I would have to turn the car off and turn it back on to reset the computer so it can be drivable. . 2006 Chrysler 300 srt8.
