2008 300 C Breaks Down

I have the 2008 300c heritage edition. When driving on hiway the dashboard shows acc unavailable. The engine seems like its off but I can go about 40 mph for a few miles before the car completely stalls and won't start again. This happens without me using the cruise control

AAt 18000 miles the left tie rod had to replaced. Is this an occuring thing on the 2008 300c?
