Can Standard Definition Receiver Model:d12-100 Be Connected To My New Vizo

Vizio smart tv+wifi drect led Model E320i-AO? We don't want HD or wifi just our nomal tv using our old cables? Tv was bought for us by son and we do not have the budget to up grade box and pay for HD. Was told by store associate that it could be but I am not seeing connectors on tv that match up with box. I will be calling Vizio later but I wanted to make sure Directv should hook up. Thank you.
