Does Vga Support Tv Out
I have an Inspiron 5720 with an HDMI and VGA connector. I want to hook the laptop up to a composite jack on my DVR. The cable I want to use requires the following.
"Your VGA card must support TV out directly through VGA port function. Please consult with your VGA card's user manual for more information."
Does my Inspiron support TV out?

Hello There, according to Dell Website this laptop does support connect from laptop to tv with use of hdmi cable.
It appears that vga may not be supported because dell is pushing the use of hdmi.
You can also use a wireless adapter such as Netgear Push2tv HD ptv2000 as another method of connecting .
