First when you power up the laptop press F1 or F2 or del key to enter in bios then make sure SATA is disabled and harddrive is recognized in bios.

Then when you power up the computer press F8 key if you are unable to see safe mode and other menu then need to repair windows os if harddrive is recognized in bios.

If you laptop stopped at dell logo then need to open back cover of laptop then reconnect RAM memory .Also pull cmos cell from motherboard for 10 minutes then put it againn into it's position then check.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thanks for using Helpowl.
