If I Book A Flight For Someone Else Online Can They Use The Conformation Number

if i book a flight and pay online for someone else and they are unable to print out the ticket can they use the conformation number and get their ticket at the airport

yes.airlines dont issue paper tickets anymore -so that means you have a electronic ticket stored in the airline's computer.passenger just shows up to the flight -shows picture id -print boarding pass and flies.no such thing as airport pickup anymore.
