Alarm

my car has a light on the dashboard for an anti theft. It was s working when I lock the door. It'll blink red on and off, but it stop working and I took it in to dodge service department and they're telling me that the light is not even suppose to be there and my car does not come with any source of alarm. I'm really confuse and the mechanic guy was trying to tell me that the light on the dashboard is not even suppose to be on there. The light was working until I took it in cause they had to reload the software for the car and every since than it stopped working. Can you also tell me what type of Durango do I have. They're telling me that my 2011 is consider an caravan. My vehicle I am so disappointed with my vehicle. I had so many problems with it since I had it after a year and a half. I'm a single parent with 4 children and sacrifice a lot to purchase this New vehicle. I really thought I was buying a reliable car, but so far I had to replace the Cam Shaft, Alternator other things on there and the car was not only 2 yrs old. I appreciate if you can give me some information on That issue. Can you also tell me if my head rest is removable? It has a button on the side that you can adjust it, but it won't release it completely so I can take it off...If you can't answer my questions, can you please give me the correct department who can help me.
