The Link That I Was Provided Did Not Answer The Question About Installing A
roof rack on my 2015 Dodge Caravan. My owners manual that can be viewed on line at dodge.com, has a warning about not drilling into the roof for any reason. This is in section 2 under the Side Curtain Airbags System.The owners guide that came with my Caravan has the same warning stating " do not add roof racks or any other accessories that require bolts or screws, and do not drill into the roof for any reason."The dealership where I bought it says they can put a roof rack on the vehicle, but other dealerships have said they can not because of the airbags and wiring that runs along the top outer edge of the roof.Does anyone know if it is safe to install a permanent roof rack?
