Dynex 55' Going Off By Itself

Everything about the tv works fine, except it will go off by itself.  Once it is off, it will not come back on by pushing the power button, either remotly or on the panel, until the unit has been unplugged and plugged back in.  Could it be the mother board or power supply?  I have replaced the electric cable.
