How Can I Get Larger Menus On My 26' Lcd. I Can't Read It. Also The Closed Capti

You might be able to have larger menus by using the ZOOM button on the top row of the remote.
Next to the Zoom button is the CCD button for closed captioning. You can find the instructions in PDF format which you can enlarge for easier viewing. Begin at page 15, Using your TV - scroll down that page for Using Closed Captions in the right column.
To use closed captioning you would
- Press MENU
- and use the < > arrows to highlight Setup. Then press the down arrow to open that menu.
- move down to Closed Caption and highlight it with the < > arrows
- Press ENTER
- The closed caption menu will open
- Press the up or down arrow to highlight CC Mode and the press < or > to select your choice: On
- There are several options which you have at this point using the < > arrows
- You can chose CC1 which is a banner across the bottom of the screen and according to DYnex is a "printed" version
- CC2, CC3 and CC4 display contect provided by the broadcaster.
- If you are done at this point Press Exit
- You can also select CC on Mute by using the < > arrows. This option will allow you to continue to see the captions even when you have muted the sound.
- When you have made you selections you can Press EXIT to close the menu.
You might also want to open the MENU for Picture and adjust the Contrast to a higher setting.
