No Suction When Using The Tools

The Dyson sucks well on general use but there is no suction when useing the tools. I have investigated the tubes and they are all clear. Is there another filter I should look for as the top filter has been cleaned. Thanks

My DC18 was hijacked, then broke and sent away to the Dyson repair shop. Got my vac back in less than a year surprisingly... ANYWAY I was learning about the suction and what not.

Multiple times (esp with kids around), someone is going to vacuum up a popsicle stick or two. Or an ex who vacuumed up hot peas. Regardless, I was having suction issues. I found that if I slide the head motor off so the upright cannot stand by itself. I rolled it over and investigated the tiny hose at the bottom of DC18. STUCK in where you cannot see or hear an object move was that of a popsicle stick. The next thing was a reed diffuser. Fragile sticks will get sucked up, but not all the way!! Try this before losing your mind, like I did, fixing my investment.

P.s. - do not vacuum up socks, underwear, hosiery, etc, and say "oops" like a dumb#@$@! cuz I will get the sock out of my vacuum and beat you with it.
