Can I Stack A Dryer On A Washer That Is Already Installed On A Pedestal?

Will the one pedestal take the weight of both the washer & dryer. I have limited space & I want the washer controls out of my 18 month old baby's reach. I know it wil be quite high, bcos I measured it already. My solution to that is my stepstool.
