Check the display. The display on the microwave should show the word "Grill" or "Grill Mode" when the setting is on.

Listen for the sound. The microwave should make a different sound when the grill setting is on.

Feel the heat. The grill element in the microwave will heat up when the grill setting is on. You can feel the heat by touching the grill element or by placing your hand near the grill window.

If you are still not sure whether the grill setting is on, you can always consult the manual again. The manual may have more detailed instructions on how to use the grill mode.

Here are some additional tips:

The grill setting is not always available on all microwaves. If your microwave does not have a grill setting, you can use the "browning" setting instead.

The grill setting can be used to cook a variety of foods, including meats, vegetables, and sandwiches.

When using the grill setting, it is important to keep an eye on your food to prevent it from burning.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
