Cannot Change Username On Facebook

last night I accidentally misspelled my name on facebook but now it will not let me change my name at all unless I show a id . But when I try hitting Id it won't let me put my ID on there and I need my name change

Hello Coryandashben,

The link provided by Odin takes you through the steps for making a name change. And, as he also informed you, can be only done once.

However, if you are still having trouble with this, you can submit a form to Facebook Support requesting the name change, you will also be able to upload a copy of your ID, preferrably by using a scanner and saving the scanned copy to your computer, if possible.

On the top-right of your page there is a drop down menu and one of the selections is settings. It opens to general settings first. From there you have the option to change your name and url. You can only change your name once every 60 days.

TexasDeviL is incorrect in saying you can change your username once every 60 days; you can change it only once, as stated at https://www.facebook.com/help/www/162586890471598?sr=1&sid=0qKYWpxtl63S5AOJV, which also gives you instructions for making the change.
