I Can't Log In My Facebook Account For The Last Two Days.

I try to log in my facebook account and for the last two days it won't let me and it keeps saying this account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. It should work in a few hours. It's been going on two days and its really annoying me now. I've asked my friends and their accounts are still working. Do you have any idea what happened???

"Site Maintenance" usually means that Facebook is making an improvement to the database that your account is stored on. During this time, you will not be able to gain access to your account. In most instances, this maintenance will last only a few hours.

Facebook doesn't do site maintenance on all accounts at the same time, so it's possible that some of your friends will have full access even though you don't.

If your maintenance lasts longer than 24 hours, you may wish to follow these instructions to clear your browser's cache and cookies. If that doesn't work, try submitting this Facebook form.

Facebook is probably making an improvement to the site. During this time, you will not be able to log into your account. If it last longer than a few hours try clearing your cookies. If that still doesnt work, it is probably taking facebook longer than they expected to fix the problem.
