Will Fb Ever Allow Users To Have More Then 5000 Friends?

I am coming close to my limit of 5000 friends on FB, will FB ever allow users to have more then 5000 friends? Also, I am trying to add a friend and it won't allow me to, can you please check my account and see if it needs to be refreshed. IT might be a tech issue with www.facebook.com/christinaderosa
