Dryer Mod De70fa1 Timer Question.

The Dryer Is A Few Years Old But It Will Not Completely Dry Clothes On The ''auto Cotton'' Cycle. It Dries Ok On All Other Heat Settings Such As ''timed Dry'' So I Don't Feel As Tho It Would Be The Heating Element.....would The ''auto Cotton'' Portion Of The Timer Go Bad?????
