Fluke 87v Error Code
When i turn on my fluke 87v, the lcd display LEAD error and also beeping

If you suspect the water has conductive items such as salt water you may have to clean it with distilled water. Once you have completed the steps above the meter should stop beeping when you turn it on, if not you should contact the Fluke service center (888-993-5853 or [email protected]).
Why is my fluke meter beeping?
A DMM emits an audible response (a beep) when it detects a complete path. The beep, an audible indicator, permits technicians to focus on testing procedures without looking at the multimeter display. When testing for continuity, a multimeter beeps based on the resistance of the component being tested.
