Spare Tire Underneath A Ford Ranger Truck
how to remove the spare tire from underneath a 1999 ford ranger truck?

There is a hole between the rear bumper and the tailgate where you insert the jack handle. You assemble the jack handle and insert one end into the lug wrench. You take the other end and insert it into the rear bumper hole. Then turn the lug wrench counterclockwise to lower the spare.
One more thing. Some of the Ford Rangers have a lock in the hole to prevent anyone from stealing the spare. If you don't have the key for that lock, you're going to have to drill out the lock before you can insert the end of the jack.
