From my experience, the answer is no. The easiest way is to go by a Ford dealer and have one of the technicians in the shop plug their little box into the plug under your steering wheel. Then he can give you the code in less than a minute. WARNING!!! Some dealerships might want to charge you for this. In your owners manual there was a card issued with the van that has the number on it. It also says "DO NOT LOST THIS CARD" on it. Each van has it's OWN id number and cannot be changed. If not you could just get someones vin#, call it in and have access to their van, that is why they will not give it to you.
