Oil Change.

Can regular oil be used in 2002 V8? Owners guide says SAE 5W20 synthetic.

If your vehicle is no longer under warranty, use whatever oil you want to use. If it's still under warranty (doubtful), using regular oil could void the warranty.

That being said, I would stick with synthetic oil. Regular oil should be changed every 3,000 miles, but synthetic oil is good for at least 5,000 miles. But if you don't mind changing your oil every 3k, then buy regular oil.
