Cooling Fan Relay

I changed the temperature senor , resistor , water pump and thermostat ,the fan still wont go on unless i run A/C . my temperature guage is mot working properly . I didnt change relay yet , cant afford it 90$ and then what if that is not the problem , my guestion is and i use a relay from a different year as long as it has 6 pins

before you go and buy a relay, look at another relay that has the same numbers and works, swap them to see if that is the issue, if its not the issue then try trouble shooting the fan controls
