Voltage To Upfitter Switches

The Upfitter switches on my '06 F250 put out a constant 3VDC, not 12VDC as descibed. How do I get power to them for an auxillary power port connection? The owner's manual is useless. What am I missing

I've found the answer to my own question, here we go:

There is apparently two sets of bundled wires with the same Orange/trace behind the fuse box in the 2005/06 F250; I had the wrong wire hooked up. When you find the correct Orange/trace and flip the appropriate Upfitter switch (in my case #4) it puts out 12VDC, just like it should.

Be sure to blunt cut or tape the wrong wire in case you trimmed the insulation and exposed copper like I did. You don't want to short something bad some night in the middle of a storm. Bad, very bad.
