My Gmail Account Has Been Deleted. How Do I Find Out Who Did This To My Account
Yesterday my gmail account was deleted. How do I recover my emails and find out who is doing this to my account?

- You need to act rapidly to recover your account
- Begin the account recovery process at Google.
- Or use this Account Recovery Option page rather than Restoring a deleted account which doesn't give any instructions.
- Finding out what actually happened - whether an accident on your part or being hacked would be helpful but may or may not be possible.
- To protect yourself in the future, make sure that you have a back-up email address and a working phone number in the google system. That will allow communication if you cannot access your account, forget your password. It will also give you a contact back-up. (I send certain emails to a 2nd account for back-up as I misuse my email as a filing system for recipes and notes even though I also file in my computer files as well)
- Another way to find current help as things change on Google frequently, is simply to use the Google Help Forum because Google staff frequently respond and can directly offer assistance.
