Battery Replaced And It Says Low Battery

I replaced the battery in the unit and it still says low battery and cuts off. What gives? This is the 1st time the battery has been changed since I bought it. If I knew I would never be able to use it once the battery died, I would have spent my money on a better thermometer not made by graco.

All the answer that previously been uploaded not keeping in mind that the battery has been already replaced. So you have to try other methods.

I've seen instances where you may get a low battery notification if it's making poor contact with the battery. If that's the case, I would try two things:

First, clean the battery contacts on your Graco. I'd use a little alcohol and a Q-tip and hopefully that will resolve your issues.

Second, you can try gently prying the contacts so that they apply more pressure on the battery.

Hopefully this will address the low battery issue. I was able to revive my friend's Graco Thermometer this way.

Thanks
