Can't Sign Up For Hbo Now. Can't Sign Up For Hbo Now

Can't sign up for HBO Now through apple TV app. Have had HBO through Direct TV for 14 years but no HBO now. Your HBO Now app on apple TV saids I have an account with HBO and I do not have an account now. Iturn store said everything is ready to buy it, but HBO app will not allow it.
