Is It Possible To Replace Battery Release Latch On Hp 3115m?

Depending on how the battery catch is fitted it may be possible. Normally the battery catch is part of the lower case assembly and has to be replaced as a complete unit. Obtaining a second hand base unit would be the way to go by transferring parts over. I have attached a link to HP where you can download the 'Maintenance and service guide' which will give you dis-assembly info and part numbers of spares.
