How To Disable The Ambient Light Sensor For Elitebook 8530p

I was told that to turn off the ambient light sensor for hp laptops is to go to the desktop of your computer. Hold down the Fn key and press the f11 key to shut it off. Give it a try to see if it works on your elitebook.
