Hp 8600 Officejet Ink Cartridge Door Will Not Open

Have you changed the cartridges in this printer before? Unlike a lot of printers the cartridges are not found by lifting the top of the printer, you have to pull down on a door. You can watch the process with the following video...

If you cannot get that door open, there may be something stuck that is not allowing it to open.
