Hp Probook 6450b Power Button Flashing But Wont Turn On

I had the same problem with my Probook 6450b. In my case the solution was fairly simple. After having tried all other solutions found on internet, I finally tested my adapter on another HP-laptop and voila - my adapter did not work properly. I replaced the adapter and now I am happy again.
