No Active Mixer Devices Available' So Volume Cannot Be Altered. No Sound.
The only noise the laptop makes is a beep if a warning comes up. It will not play any other sound. When trying to turn off mute or alter the sound settings the following warning pops up: 'There are no active mixer devices available'.

Greetings - That means your sound driver is not installed. You can download the driver from hp's official site.
