Hitachi Ultravision Tv Only Plays Dvds In Black And White
brand new hitachi ultravision tv has a perfect picture when im watching tv but ehen i switch to dvd it Only plays black and white... how do i fix this?

The reason you are not getting the full color is that you are using the wrong video cable. You need to get an HDMI cable which carry the video and audio in one cable (check your tv and see if it has one and also your DVD player) or you get a component cable for video (it is color coded in Red, Green and Blue, 3 RCA jacks) you will also need an optical audio cable for the audio. The RCA jack color coded in white and red is for stereo only. Both your tv and DVD player will have that information for connections. Hope this will help you out.
