No Picture,but Sound

My hitachi 55hdx99 gets sound, but no picture. I had the geek squad come out, and first they said it was a bad power board, they replaced that and it didnt work so they said it was a different board, but didnt say which one. Only that it would cost over a thousand to fix. Do you know which part it might be and if I could fix it myself?
