Dvd Not Recognized--ejects Before You Can Get Into Dubbing Mode
I own a JVC DR-MV150B dvd recorder combo unit & have recently gotten an error of unknown disc when I put in a dvd - it ejects & gives this error over and over again - I am unable to get into dubbing mode

Have you tried a cleaner disk? This can solve errors with being unable to read disks. Check that prerecorded disks will play. If that is also an issue then suspect the drive unit as the likely culprit. Listen to see if the drive spins up. If not then the disk unit may have a faulty motor or the 'disk inserted' switch is not functioning. If you have no skills in the electronic field I would advise recourse to an engineer.
