Why Does My Jvc Kdx40ud Front Buttons Not Working But Volume Knob And The Remote
Why does my JVC KDX40UD front buttons not working but volume knob and the remote works. Over all system working fine.

If I recall correctly, these units have the front panel connected to the main board via a small ribbon cable. It is possible that this has come loose. The remote works a different way and the remote sensor is connected directly to the main board. This unit needs to be opened up for an a close look at all the cables and connectors.
