Jensen Vm9022hdn Gps Sd Card Slot Not Accepting Sim Card

I lost the original Gps Sd card for this unit. I bought the sd card ( sandisk 2gb) from bestbuy, for some reason it just shows incorrect sd card, my understanding isthat even if the sd card is empty my double din still should accepted andgive me a different error , This makes me worrymaybe something is wrong with the GPS SD card slot or maybe this is an errorthat this particular DD gives that error if the exact data are not loaded in the SD Card, I will apriciatte it if someone can give me a good answer
