I Hear A Dial Tone, But Cannot Make Or Receive Calls

Just this week I tried to make calls, but I cannot make or receive calls. There is no sound. I do hear the dial tone, but after I enter the phone number, there is no sound for either in coming or out going calls.

11/2010 Step one : click on your start menu bar located on the lower left hand side

step 2: Search bar type appdata

step 3 find the magic jack icon click on it

step 4 : click on the UPGRADE icon
step 5 click on the setup1 icon

Step one: Start menu bar

step 2: find documents bar

step 3: locate the APPdata icon

step 4 click on the APP data icon

step 5. : click on the Roaming icon

step 6: click on the Setup1 icon

step 7 : majic jack icon will begin to download

step 8 wait patiently the majic jack pad will appear make and receive calls

step 9: the voice might not be great but at least you can hear and dial out
